Okay, so Tarzan: L'Appel De La Jungle on GBA is basically that classic Disney movie but with way more vine-swinging and less Phil Collins music (sadly). You start off jumping between trees like you’d expect, but the controls actually feel pretty smooth—none of that clunky "oh no, I missed the branch" frustration some platformers have.
The levels mix things up between running through dense jungle, dodging rhinos (because of course there are rhinos), and even some underwater sections where you’re avoiding piranhas. The art style nails that bright, cartoony look from the film, which is cool if you’re into nostalgia. And yeah, you fight some generic bad guys, but honestly, the best part is just swinging around like an absolute maniac.
It’s not super deep, but for a licensed GBA game, it’s way more fun than it has any right to be. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—it’s pure, dumb jungle-flinging joy.
