Tarzan (france) Game

So, this is the Game Boy Color version of Disney's Tarzan—y'know, the one tied to the 1999 movie. It's mostly a side-scroller where you swing on vines, dodge leopards, and jump across gaps like you'd expect, but there are these weird little minigame breaks where you surf down trees or race through the jungle. Controls are a bit stiff at first, but once you get used to Tarzan's weirdly floaty jumps, it's not bad for a licensed game. The music's actually kinda catchy, too—those GBC sound chips did their best with the movie tunes.
Honestly, it's exactly what you'd imagine a late-'90s Disney platformer to be: colorful, simple, and just hard enough to make kid-you throw the Game Boy across the room a couple times.
