Okay, so Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3 is one of those GBA RPGs that somehow flew under the radar, which is a shame because it’s weirdly addictive. You start by picking two characters—I went with a swordsman and a mage at first, but honestly, half the fun is experimenting with different combos. The whole "dress-up" mechanic isn’t just cosmetic—throw on a chef outfit, and suddenly you’re cooking mid-battle for buffs. Weird? Yes. Awesome? Also yes.
The dungeons are bite-sized, perfect for handheld play, and the combat’s snappy with that classic Tales flair. It’s got that early 2000s charm where everything’s bright and cheerful, even when you’re getting wrecked by a giant onion monster (yes, really). If you’ve got a soft spot for RPGs that don’t take themselves too seriously, this one’s a blast.
