If you're into the Tales series, this one's a neat little GBA spin-off—Narikiri Dungeon 3. It’s got that classic Tales vibe but with a twist: you can switch between different character classes mid-battle, which keeps the combat from feeling stale. The roster pulls from Symphonia and Eternia, so you’ll recognize some faces if you’ve played those.
It starts off simple—pick your character, dive into some basic dungeons—but the job system gets surprisingly deep. I went in thinking it’d be a lightweight dungeon crawler, but messing around with different class combos actually had me hooked. The sprite work’s charming too, especially for a GBA title.
Fair warning, though: it’s Japan-only, so unless you’re fluent or cool with guides, there might be some menu squinting. Still, if you’re a Tales fan with a soft spot for portable RPGs, it’s a fun deep cut.
