About Tales Of The World - Narikiri Dungeon 2 (j)(eurasia)
Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2 came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Alfa System and published by Namco. It was part of a wave of RPGs that tried to bring deeper, console-style adventures to the handheld, a time when you could carry a whole party in your pocket.
You control a custom hero, choosing their appearance and starting class, and then dive into randomly generated dungeons. Your main goal is to survive the dungeon's floors, fighting monsters in real-time battles where you tap buttons for basic attacks and special Artes. You can switch between two characters on the fly, and a key mechanic is crafting new job classes by finding specific items, which changes your abilities and stats. The pacing is methodical, as you manage limited healing items and decide when to retreat to town, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in deeper levels.
