Tak 2 on the GBA is one of those sequels that actually builds on the first game without losing what made it fun. You're still playing as Tak, the shaman-in-training, but this time the world feels bigger—more jungles to swing through, more spirits to mess with, and way more weird little puzzles that make you stop and think for a second.
The Staff of Dreams gimmick adds some cool twists, like warping between dream and reality to solve stuff. I remember getting stuck early on because I didn’t realize certain platforms only existed in one version of the world. Once it clicks though, you start seeing those possibilities everywhere.
It’s got that same cartoony vibe as the first game, but everything’s a bit sharper—animations, jokes, even the way Tak moves feels smoother. If you liked the original, this one’s a no-brainer.
