Tabaluga on Game Boy Color is one of those weird little platformers based on a German kids' show—think a green dragon with a scarf hopping around icy levels. The controls are a bit stiff by today's standards, but there's charm in the chunky pixel art and those oddly catchy chiptune tracks. You mostly jump over spikes, collect gems, and occasionally ride a snowboard (badly).
It's not the deepest game, but if you're into obscure late-90s handheld curiosities, this one's got personality. The later levels actually get kinda brutal with the platforming, which I did not expect from a dragon aimed at six-year-olds.
