Supreme Snowboarding came out for the Game Boy Color in 1999, published by Infogrames in Europe. It was one of the few attempts to bring a 3D-style extreme sports game to the handheld, arriving when developers were still figuring out how to translate fast-paced action onto the small screen.

You control a snowboarder from a third-person perspective, racing down mountain courses against the clock or other competitors. The main goal is to win races by navigating gates, but you also perform tricks in the air for style and a possible speed boost. Signature mechanics include building up a special meter by landing tricks, which you can then use for a powerful burst of speed. The tracks are filled with jumps, half-pipes, and obstacles, demanding quick reflexes to maintain momentum. The pacing is relentless, and the later courses become quite demanding, punishing any mistake that sends you into the scenery. It feels like a constant battle to stay upright while pushing for every bit of speed you can find.
