Play Super Puzzle Bobble Advance Online

I picked up Super Puzzle Bobble Advance for my Game Boy Advance back in 2003. Taito put this one out, and it was a solid puzzle game to have in your collection during that era of handhelds. It fit right in with other portable games that were easy to pick up for a few minutes but could keep you occupied for a while.

You control a little dinosaur at the bottom of the screen who shoots colored bubbles upward. The main goal is to clear each screen of bubbles by matching three or more of the same color. Your main tools are aiming your shots and bouncing bubbles off the walls to hit tricky spots. As you progress, the game introduces bubbles with special properties, like metal ones that can't be popped or star bubbles that clear an entire color group. The pace starts relaxed but gets quite frantic as the ceiling of bubbles slowly descends, threatening to end your game. It feels satisfying to set up a big chain reaction and watch a crowded screen clear away.
