Super Monkey Ball Jr. on the GBA is basically the portable, slightly jankier cousin of the console games. You still tilt the stage to roll your monkey in a ball toward the goal, but the controls feel a little stiffer—takes some getting used to after playing the smoother GameCube version. The levels are bite-sized, which works for quick plays, though some of the later ones get brutal with the GBA’s limited view. Not bad for a handheld adaptation, but you’ll miss those silky physics.
