Super Army War (or Glory Days if you're in France) is one of those GBA games that sneaks up on you—it looks simple at first, but suddenly you're sweating over whether to bomb that tank column or save your ammo for the incoming fighter planes. You jump between helicopters and jets, raining hell on enemy troops while trying to keep your own guys alive. The strategy bits hit harder than you'd expect—pick wrong and your infantry gets wiped before they even reach the front lines.

What I love is how chaotic it gets when both sides start throwing everything at each other. One minute you're carefully picking off snipers, the next you're barrel-rolling through missile fire because some battleship decided to join the party. The pixel explosions still hold up, too—nothing like seeing a whole platoon go up in flames because you timed your napalm drop just right.

It's basically Rescue Raiders with GBA flair, and honestly? That's all it needed to be.
