About Sudoku Fever (e)(eternity)
I picked up Sudoku Fever (E)(Eternity) for the Game Boy Advance, a puzzle game from the system's later years. It was released by a publisher called Eternity, and it fits right in with the other portable logic games of that era. You don't see many new GBA titles after a certain point, so finding a straightforward Sudoku game felt like a natural fit for the handheld.
You control the cursor, moving it across a nine by nine grid to fill in the empty squares. The main objective is to complete the puzzle so that every row, column, and three by three box contains the digits one through nine without repetition. The game's mechanics involve careful number placement, using pencil marks to note possible candidates, and the ability to check your progress for errors at any time. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty ramps up significantly from gentle warm-ups to genuinely challenging puzzles that demand full concentration. It feels like a quiet, focused exercise for your brain.
