Stuart Little - The Journey Home is one of those weird little Game Boy Color movie tie-ins that somehow works better than it should. You play as Stuart, the tiny mouse in a human world, navigating oversized obstacles like kitchen tables and backyard gardens. The controls are floaty at first—took me a minute to get used to jumping on pencils and dodging house cats—but there's a weird charm to the isometric perspective making everything feel massive.
First level drops you right into the house with no tutorial, just Stuart scampering past shoes and hopping on stacks of books. The music’s got that classic GBC chiptune cheeriness, and the sprite work actually makes Stuart look kinda cute. It’s short, maybe a couple hours if you’re decent at platformers, but there are worse ways to kill an afternoon if you’re into retro oddities.
