Street Jam Basketball (u)(rising Sun) Game

Street Jam Basketball on the GBA is one of those arcade-style hoops games that doesn’t take itself too seriously—and that’s why it’s fun. You’ve got these exaggerated, almost cartoonish players pulling off ridiculous dunks and no-look passes, and the controls are simple enough that you can pick it up fast. The courts have this grungy street vibe, like you’re playing in some back alley with graffiti everywhere.
At first, I thought it was just another basic basketball sim, but there’s a surprising amount of flair here. The soundtrack’s got this early 2000s hip-hop energy, and the announcer’s voice cracks me up with his over-the-top calls. It’s not NBA-level depth, but for quick pick-up games, it hits the spot. If you’re into old-school handheld sports games, this one’s a solid choice.
