Stranded Kids is one of those weird little Game Boy Color gems that feels like a mix of survival sim and adventure game—but way more charming than that sounds. You wake up on a beach with nothing, and suddenly you're punching trees for sticks, catching fish with your bare hands, and trying not to get wrecked by wild boars. The pixel art has this cozy, slightly janky vibe, and figuring out how to craft tools (took me forever to realize you could make a raft) is oddly satisfying.

It’s got that old-school trial-and-error thing where you’ll absolutely starve a few times before getting the hang of it. But once you start building fires and setting up a little camp, it’s hard to put down. Also, the music slaps—just don’t expect to escape the island on your first try.
