Starsky & Hutch (u)(dcs) Game

Starsky & Hutch on the GBA is one of those licensed games that actually surprised me—it’s not just a lazy cash grab. You’re basically tearing through 70s-style streets in that iconic red Gran Torino, either chasing down perps as Starsky or taking them out with Hutch’s shotgun from the passenger seat. The driving feels a little stiff at first, but once you get used to drifting around corners and ramming suspect cars off the road, it’s weirdly satisfying.
There’s a mix of missions—some are straightforward chases, others have you protecting informants or defusing bombs before time runs out. The pixel art nails that retro cop show vibe, complete with funky soundtrack cuts. It’s not perfect (the shooting segments can get repetitive), but if you’re into arcade-style driving with a side of nostalgia, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect GTA-level depth.
