Okay, so Star Wars: Super Return on Game Boy is one of those old-school side-scrollers where you jump between playing as Luke, Leia, and Han—each with their own weird little quirks. Luke’s lightsaber feels kinda stubby at first, but you get used to it. Leia’s blaster is weirdly satisfying once you figure out the timing.

The levels are basically a greatest hits of the original trilogy—Hoth, Death Star, Endor—but pixelated in that charmingly janky Game Boy way. Some of the platforming is brutal (looking at you, Cloud City jumps), but blasting stormtroopers never gets old. Also, the music is just bleepy versions of the classic themes, and honestly? It slaps.
