Oh man, Spyro Attack of the Rhynocs takes me back. It's one of those GBA games that somehow crammed a full Spyro adventure into that tiny cartridge. You start off chasing these weird rhynoc creatures through portals (classic Spyro nonsense), and before long you're bouncing between worlds collecting gems and doing those little mini-challenges Spyro games love so much.
The controls feel a bit cramped on GBA compared to the PlayStation games, but once you get used to it, the flame breath and charge attacks still feel satisfying. Some of the platforming sections get surprisingly tricky for a handheld game - I remember getting stuck on this one ice world for way too long.
It's not the deepest Spyro game out there, but if you're craving some portable dragon action, it scratches that itch. Just don't expect the same scope as the console versions.
