Spyro: Season of Ice came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Universal Interactive. It was part of that early wave of GBA titles trying to bring a 3D console feel to a handheld, using an isometric perspective to give the world some depth on the small screen.

You control Spyro the dragon, running and gliding through interconnected levels to rescue frozen fairies. Your main goal is straightforward: explore each area screen by screen, flame enemies, and hunt for the fairies and the gems they're trapped in. The isometric view makes judging jumps a constant, deliberate task, and you'll spend a lot of time breaking open chests and defeating Rhynocs to collect keys that unlock new paths. The pacing is methodical, focused on thorough exploration and backtracking once you have new abilities, and some of the later platforming challenges can be quite demanding. It feels like a patient, collection-heavy adventure that tests your navigation skills more than your reflexes.
