Okay, so this is one of those weirdly charming SpongeBob GBA games that somehow nails the show’s chaotic energy. You start off jellyfishing (of course), but then things take a turn when some bizarre sea creatures start causing trouble around Bikini Bottom. The controls are simple—jump, spin attack, the usual—but the real fun is in the little details, like Patrick’s clueless commentary or the way Squidward somehow manages to look even more done with everything in pixel form.
It’s not the hardest platformer out there, but the levels have this goofy creativity that keeps it interesting. One minute you’re flipping Krabby Patties, the next you’re dodging giant sea monsters. And yeah, the graphics actually hold up—bright colors, chunky sprites, all that good GBA nostalgia. If you ever watched the show and thought, "I wish I could just wander around this world causing nonsense," this is pretty much that.
Definitely a solid pick if you’re in the mood for something lighthearted and just a little bit ridiculous.
