Spongebob Squarepants - Revenge Of The Flying Dutchman (u)(venom) Game
📅 2002 ✍️ THQ

So, SpongeBob SquarePants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman on GBA is exactly as weird as it sounds. You start off just messing around in Bikini Bottom—collecting spatulas, bouncing on jellyfish, the usual—until SpongeBob and Gary accidentally wake up the Flying Dutchman. Now the whole place is haunted, and of course, it's up to you to fix it.
The gameplay's a mix of platforming and light puzzle-solving, with some genuinely funny moments (because, well, it's SpongeBob). The controls are simple, but some of those later jumps get pretty tight—I may or may not have yelled at my GBA a few times. If you're into the show, the humor and art style totally nail it. Just don't expect anything groundbreaking beyond that.
Honestly, it's a solid little time-waster if you're craving some early 2000s nostalgia. The ghost ship levels are the highlight, though—Dutchman's voice lines are ridiculous in the best way.
