Spirit - Stallion Of The Cimarron (u)(mode7) Game

Remember that old Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron game on GBA? It's basically a side-scrolling adventure where you play as the wild mustang from the movie, galloping through canyons and dodging obstacles. The animation's surprisingly smooth for a GBA title—you can almost feel the dust kicking up when Spirit rears back.
First few minutes throw you right into it: jumping over fallen logs, outrunning horse wranglers, and occasionally bucking off riders who try to tame you (which never gets old). The controls are simple—just run and jump—but some of those later canyon leaps require weirdly precise timing. I may or may not have faceplanted into a river a few times figuring it out.
It's one of those licensed games that actually captures the movie's vibe, with those wide-open plains and a soundtrack that loops just enough to get stuck in your head. Still holds up if you're into retro platformers with hooves instead of swords.
