Spider-Man 3 on the GBA is one of those licensed movie games that actually gets the swinging right. You start off with the classic red-and-blue suit, but before long, the black symbiote suit shows up—and yeah, it feels as cool as it looks. The city’s not huge, but zipping between rooftops and thwipping bad guys off fire escapes never gets old.
Fights include Sandman, Venom, and a bunch of street-level thugs who really should’ve picked a different career. Combat’s simple—punch, web, repeat—but there’s something satisfying about webbing up a goon and leaving him dangling from a lamppost. Just don’t expect deep storytelling; it’s basically "bad guys show up, Spider-Man punches them." Still, for a handheld tie-in, it’s way more fun than it had any right to be.
