Spider-man 2 (u)(hyperion) Game

Spider-Man 2 on GBA is one of those weird little handheld adaptations that somehow works. You swing around a scaled-down New York, stopping random crimes between story missions—it’s got that same open-world vibe as the console version, just pixelated and way more cramped. The swinging physics are surprisingly decent for a GBA game, though you’ll definitely clip through a few buildings.
Combat’s basic but satisfying—web up thugs, yank their guns away, bounce between rooftops. The side stuff gets repetitive fast (how many car chases can one city have?), but nailing a perfect swing between skyscrapers never gets old. Just don’t expect the movie’s plot to make much sense here—half the cutscenes feel like someone summarized them from memory.
It’s janky in that classic early-2000s handheld way, but there’s charm in making your own fun with web-slinging mayhem.
