Spider-Man 2 on GBA is one of those weird little handheld adaptations that somehow nails the feel of swinging through New York, even with the hardware limits. You’ve got this tiny open-ish city to zip around, stopping random crimes between story missions—it’s janky in that classic GBA 3D way, but there’s something charming about pulling off a clumsy web swing between pixelated skyscrapers.
Combat’s basic but satisfying when you yank thugs into the air or web them to lampposts. The missions follow the movie plot loosely, though half the fun is just goofing off and seeing how far you can fling yourself before faceplanting into a building. It’s rough around the edges, but way more ambitious than most licensed games from that era.
