So, Spider-Man: The Movie on GBA—yeah, it’s basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up with some web-swinging thrown in. You get the movie’s plot (Green Goblin, wrestling match, all that), but they also tossed in random villains like Shocker and Vulture, which feels a little weird since they weren’t even in the film. Swinging feels kinda stiff, but punching thugs off rooftops never gets old.
Weirdly, the game makes you wait for certain animations to finish before you can move again—like, Spidey will just stand there after a big punch, and you’re stuck watching. Still, the sprite work’s decent, and the levels mix up the usual running and jumping with some light puzzle stuff. Not the best Spidey game, but not the worst either.
