Ever wanted to wreck havoc as the Green Goblin instead of stopping him? This GBA gem lets you do exactly that—you’re not just swinging around as Spidey this time. The Goblin’s glider controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, tossing pumpkin bombs at cops and webbing up civilians feels weirdly satisfying. (Yeah, I know, not very heroic.)
Spider-Man’s still here too, of course, with his usual wall-crawling and web-slinging moves. The levels flip between both characters, and the boss fights actually make you think—no button-mashing your way through this one. The pixel art’s surprisingly crisp for a GBA title, especially when the Goblin’s glider lights up the screen with explosions.
It’s a short but solid brawler with a fun twist on the usual hero routine. Just don’t be surprised if you end up preferring the villain side.
