Spacestation Silicon Valley came out for the Game Boy Color in 1999, developed by DMA Design. It was part of that wave of late 90s handheld games that tried to bring complex, console style adventures to a small screen. You don't see many games with its particular mix of puzzle solving and action on the platform.

You control a microchip named Evo, and your main goal is to reclaim the scattered parts of the Spacestation by clearing a series of themed levels. The core mechanic is possessing different robotic animals; you jump into their bodies after defeating them, and each creature has a unique ability. A mouse can squeeze through small tunnels, a sheep can butt objects, and a bear can smash through barriers. You explore each level screen by screen, solving environmental puzzles to progress, and the challenge comes from figuring out which animal to use and when. The pacing is deliberate, more about thinking than quick reflexes, and some puzzles can be quite tricky. It feels like a strange, clever toy box where you're constantly swapping tools to see what works.
