I picked up Space Invaders for the Game Boy Advance, a 2002 release from Activision. It was part of that wave of classic arcade games getting portable versions, a straightforward conversion for people who wanted a quick fix of the original formula on the go.

You control a laser cannon that moves side to side along the bottom of the screen, shooting at rows of descending aliens. The main goal is to destroy every invader before they land or your shields are destroyed.
