Okay, so Sonic Xtreme is one of those weird Flash-era Sonic fangames where someone just threw in everything—Mario characters, bizarre physics, random spike pits. You start running, and immediately the controls feel... off. Like Sonic’s got ice skates on or something. And then Bowser just casually shows up in Green Hill Zone?

It’s janky, but in that nostalgic "what were they thinking?" way. The time limits add some pressure, and those pits are brutal—miss a jump, and you’re done. Arrow keys to move, space to jump (obviously), but good luck nailing the timing. It’s definitely not your average Sonic game.
