Sonic Blast Man Ii (japan) Game

Sonic Blast Man II is one of those weirdly satisfying SNES beat-em-ups that never made it outside Japan. You play as this ridiculously jacked superhero who punches his way through waves of thugs—like if Street Fighter’s Zangief decided to clean up the streets solo. The first game was a side-scroller, but this sequel mixes things up with some first-person punching segments where you just whale on dudes like a human wrecking ball.
It’s got that classic arcade feel—simple combos, exaggerated sound effects, and enemies that go flying when you land a solid hit. The sprites are chunky, the colors are bright, and the whole thing feels like it was designed for maximum catharsis. Not exactly deep, but sometimes you just wanna knock goons through walls without overthinking it.
Definitely a niche pick, but if you’re into retro brawlers with personality, it’s a fun time.
