Sonic The Hedgehog Game

Wait, Sonic on SNES? That’s the first thing that caught me off guard—Sega’s blue blur on a Nintendo console? Turns out it’s one of those unofficial ports, and honestly, it’s… rough. The controls feel a little sticky compared to the Genesis version, and the colors are weirdly washed out. But hey, if you’re just curious to see how someone crammed Sonic into 16-bit Nintendo hardware, it’s a weird little novelty.
You’ll still recognize Green Hill Zone, but everything moves a half-second slower, like the SNES is struggling to keep up. Rings make that same *bling* sound, though, so at least there’s that. I wouldn’t pick this over the original, but it’s kind of fun for a laugh if you’ve played the real thing a million times.
