Sonic Wings Game

Oh man, Sonic Wings on SNES—this one takes me back. It's this frantic, colorful shoot 'em up where you pick from a bunch of weird planes (and a helicopter, for some reason) and just blast through waves of enemies. The first time I played, I went with the F-14 because, well, Top Gun vibes, but the slower chopper actually ended up being way more fun once I got the hang of its spread shots.
The levels scroll vertically, and things get absolutely chaotic real fast—bullets everywhere, screen-filling bosses, and these little power-up icons you gotta snag before they vanish. The music’s got that classic SNES punch too, all upbeat and slightly cheesy in the best way. It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but it’s pure arcade-style fun if you just wanna jump in and blow stuff up for a while.
Also, good luck not laughing when your plane randomly shouts “YEAH!” after clearing a stage.
