Snowcross Game

Snowcross on Game Boy Color is one of those simple-but-surprisingly-addictive racers where you just point your snowboard downhill and try not to eat snow. The controls are dead simple—dodge trees, hit jumps, and try to land tricks without wiping out. At first I thought it was too basic, but nailing a perfect run feels weirdly satisfying.
The pixelated snow actually looks decent for a GBC game, with little details like powder kicking up when you carve too hard. There’s something oddly charming about the way your tiny boarder flails after a bad landing. Just don’t expect Tony Hawk-level trick combos—this is more about racing clean lines than style points.
It’s the kind of game you boot up for a quick run and suddenly realize you’ve been grinding the same course for 20 minutes trying to shave off half a second.
