Sister Princess: RePure is one of those weirdly cozy GBA titles where you wake up to find yourself living with twelve sisters—yeah, twelve. At first, it feels like a dating sim, but it’s way more laid-back. You just hang out, pick dialogue options, and slowly piece together why you’re even there.
The sisters range from the shy bookworm to the hyperactive little gremlin, and somehow the game makes all their quirks endearing instead of annoying. I kept accidentally making the quiet one mad by choosing the wrong snacks, but hey, that’s half the fun. The pixel art’s got that early 2000s charm, and the music’s basically a warm blanket of nostalgia.
It’s not action-packed, but if you’re into slow, character-driven stuff where your choices actually matter, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect explosions—unless you count the tsundere sister’s temper.
