About Shrek : Super Slam
Shrek: Super Slam came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Activision. It was one of many licensed games from that era, a time when you could find characters from popular movies on the handheld. This one tried to capture the humor of the films in a fighting game format.
You pick a character from the Shrek universe, like Shrek or Donkey, and battle across single screen arenas. The main goal is to knock your opponents off the platform using a variety of attacks and special moves. Each character has a unique super move that can turn the tide of a match. The game uses a simple control scheme, making it easy to jump in, but the computer opponents can be surprisingly aggressive. It feels chaotic and fast, a simple brawler you can pick up for a few quick rounds.
