Alright, so Shrek: Smash N' Crash Racing is exactly what it sounds like—a chaotic, cartoony kart racer starring everyone’s favorite swamp ogre. You’ve got Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and the whole gang tearing through tracks straight out of the movies, like Duloc or the Poison Apple Pub. The controls are simple—just enough drift and boost mechanics to keep it interesting—but the real fun comes from the sheer absurdity of it all.
First race in, you’ll dodge pumpkin bombs, get sideswiped by a rogue Gingerbread Man, and probably laugh at how ridiculous Puss in Boots looks crammed into a tiny kart. The power-ups are pure Shrek humor too—one minute you’re dropping a swamp gas cloud, the next you’re getting yeeted by a stray dragon tail. It’s not the deepest racer on the GBA, but if you’re looking for something silly to kill time between movie rewatches, this does the job. Just don’t expect Mario Kart levels of polish.
Honestly? It’s dumb fun, and sometimes that’s all you need.
