Shin Megami Tensei (j)(polla) Game

So, Shin Megami Tensei on the GBA—this is where the whole demon-collecting madness really took off. You start as some random guy in Tokyo, and then boom: demons show up, nukes drop, and suddenly you're crawling through subway tunnels full of creepy cultists while trying not to get murdered by a pixie. Classic.
It's way darker than later SMT games—no quirky sidekicks here, just grim choices and weird religious undertones. The negotiation system is janky as hell (demons will bail mid-convo for no reason), but when you finally recruit a decent monster, it feels like a win. Also, the soundtrack? All eerie synth that somehow works perfectly when you're wandering a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Fair warning: the first dungeon is brutal if you don't grind. I learned that the hard way.
