Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children - Kuro no Sho is one of those weird, kinda niche Game Boy Color RPGs that never made it outside Japan. It's part of the Devil Children spin-off series—think Pokémon but with demons, and way more cryptic if you don't speak Japanese. You recruit monsters, fuse 'em into stronger ones, and wander through this dark, kinda eerie world where humans and demons are at each other's throats.

The battle system's solid, though—turn-based with some strategy in picking the right demon combos. Graphics are decent for a GBC game, with spooky monster designs that actually look cool instead of just pixel blobs. Just don't expect a smooth ride if you're playing blind; menus are a headache without a guide.

Still, if you're into retro JRPGs and don't mind some trial-and-error, it's got that weird SMT charm.
