About Sheep
Sheep came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, published by Kemco. It was part of that early wave of GBA titles, the kind you'd find alongside more established franchises. The game doesn't try to be a big epic; it's a smaller, focused adventure that fits right in your pocket.
You control a lone wolf whose main goal is to herd sheep back to their pen. The core loop involves exploring the land screen by screen, finding the scattered sheep, and then guiding them home. Your primary tool is a bow, which you use to shoot arrows at the ground near the sheep to startle them into moving in the right direction. You also have a sword for defending against enemies like foxes and crows that try to scatter your flock. The challenge comes from managing the easily frightened sheep while fending off threats, and the game can be surprisingly tricky as your herd grows larger. It feels like a quiet, methodical puzzle where you are more a protector than a warrior.
