Okay, so Sea World - Shamu's Deep Sea Adventure is one of those early 2000s licensed games that somehow ended up on the GBA. You play as Shamu (yes, the whale) swimming through side-scrolling levels, dodging obstacles and eating fish—which, honestly, feels a little weird when you realize you're chomping down on other sea creatures.
The controls are floaty, like you'd expect from a game where you're piloting a massive orca, and the levels are short but kinda repetitive. There's this one section where you have to jump through hoops for points, and I swear the hit detection is just slightly off. Still, the underwater visuals are decent for a GBA title—lots of blues and greens, with the occasional sunbeam breaking through the water.
It's definitely a product of its time, but if you're into weird retro animal simulators, this might scratch that itch. Just don't expect anything groundbreaking.
