Scurge Hive came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2006, developed by Orbital Media. You play as Jenosa Arma, a bounty hunter who finds herself trapped inside a massive, contaminated research facility in space.

You guide Jenosa through the station's interconnected levels, clearing it room by room. Your main goal is to destroy the source of a parasitic organism called the Scurge before it consumes the station and you along with it. The gameplay is built on exploration and combat; you use a whip-like energy weapon for close attacks and a targeting system for shooting enemies from a distance. A key mechanic is the infection meter, which gradually fills as you take damage from the Scurge, forcing you to find decontamination chambers or use limited antidotes. The pacing is deliberate, with backtracking to use new abilities, and the difficulty can be sharp, especially when managing your health and resources. Moving through the silent, infected halls creates a persistent sense of tension and isolation.
