Scrabble Blast! on the GBA is basically Scrabble, but someone cranked up the speed and added explosions. You’re still scrambling letters to make words, but now there’s a timer ticking down, and chaining combos makes tiles detonate for bonus points. First time I played, I panicked and spelled "cat" three times in a row—not my finest moment.
The AI opponents are sneaky good, especially on higher difficulties. One match had me sweating as the computer dropped "quixotic" like it was nothing. You can play against friends too if you’ve got a link cable, though good luck finding someone who won’t groan when you pull off a triple-word-score bomb combo.
It’s weirdly satisfying watching letters blow up after a big play. Just don’t expect deep strategy—this is fast, chaotic word chaos with a side of pixelated fireballs.
