Okay, so this is the GBA version of Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and yeah, it's basically a side-scrolling adventure that follows the plot of the movie. You switch between Shaggy and Scooby or Fred, Velma, and Daphne depending on the level—which is kinda cool because each character has their own little quirks. Shaggy and Scooby get to sneak around and hide in stuff, while the others solve puzzles.
The pixel art actually holds up pretty well for a GBA game—the monsters look appropriately goofy and spooky, just like in the film. Some of the platforming can be a little janky, but it’s not too bad once you get used to it. And of course, there’s plenty of running away from ghosts and unmasking villains, because what’s a Scooby game without that?
If you’re into old licensed movie games, this one’s a decent time-waster. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking.
