Okay, so Scooby-Doo 2: Monster Unleashed on the GBA is basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up with some light puzzle-solving—exactly what you'd expect from a Scooby game. You pick between the gang (Fred’s surprisingly good at punching ghosts, by the way), then run through haunted museums and spooky streets smacking monsters while collecting clues.
The pixel art’s actually pretty charming, especially the way Shaggy’s hair bounces when he jumps. And yeah, the controls are simple—mostly just attack and jump—but some of those later levels get weirdly tough. Like, why does a zombie pirate need that many health bars?
It’s not gonna blow your mind, but if you’re into early 2000s licensed games, this one’s a solid time-waster. Just don’t expect deep lore behind the evil floating pumpkins.
