Sangokushi Koumeiden (j)(risingcaravan) Game

Ever wanted to dive into a classic GBA-era take on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms? Sangokushi Koumeiden is one of those deep, slightly obscure strategy gems where you're juggling warlords, troop movements, and political schemes—all in that crunchy 16-bit style.
First few minutes in, you're picking a faction (I went with Cao Cao because, well, ambition), and then it's all about managing cities, recruiting officers, and trying not to get steamrolled by Liu Bei's moral high ground. The interface feels old-school but in a way that makes you lean in—like deciphering an ancient scroll, but with more cavalry charges.
It's definitely not a pick-up-and-play kind of game, but if you're into methodical conquest with a side of historical drama, this one's got that addictive "just one more turn" pull. The pixel art for the character portraits alone gives it charm.
