Saibara Rieko No Dendou Mahjong Game

If you've ever wanted to try mahjong but got intimidated by all the rules, this GBA version is actually a pretty chill way to learn. The retro pixel art gives it that cozy 90s handheld vibe, and the tutorial does a decent job explaining how to build your first hand—though I still messed up my first few matches before it clicked.
What's cool is that it doesn't just throw you into hardcore matches right away. You start with simpler hands against easier AI, which helps when you're still figuring out why everyone keeps yelling "Riichi!" at you. The music's got that classic mahjong parlor sound too—expect a lot of clacking tiles and synth shamisen.
It's not flashy by modern standards, but there's something satisfying about playing a proper mahjong game on original GBA hardware. Just don't blame me when you start seeing tile patterns in your sleep.
