Sagaia (europe) Game

So, Sagaia—or Darius II if you're not in North America—is one of those classic side-scrolling shooters where you pilot a tiny spaceship through waves of absolutely massive, screen-filling bosses. The Sega Master System version is a bit stripped down compared to the arcade original, but it still nails that weird, underwater-meets-space vibe with fish-shaped robots and trippy neon backgrounds.
First few minutes? You're dodging bullets the size of your ship while this eerie synth soundtrack hums in the background. The branching paths are cool—pick a route after each level, and suddenly you're facing totally different screen-filling monstrosities. Some routes are brutal, others feel almost manageable. Almost.
It's not the prettiest or smoothest port, but there's something about those chunky pixel explosions and the sheer absurdity of fighting a robotic tuna with lasers that just works. If you're into old-school shooters with personality, this one's got it in spades.
