Sabre Team is a turn based tactical game released in 1994 for MS DOS systems. It was developed and published by Krisalis Software Ltd. The game simulates the operations of a four soldier special forces unit engaged in hostage rescue and similar high risk missions.

The player selects a team of four operatives from a roster of eight available soldiers. This team then proceeds through a series of five sequential missions, with each mission presenting greater difficulty than the last. Before a mission begins, the player must equip each soldier, considering factors such as weapon noise, which affects stealth, and the weight of ammunition, which impacts mobility. During a mission, the player views the map from an isometric perspective and controls each soldier using a limited pool of action points per turn. These points are spent on movement, aiming and firing weapons, and reloading. A compass interface assists with navigation and helps identify the origin of enemy gunfire.
