Rockman EXE 4: Tournament Blue Moon is one of those GBA games that just feels like it was made for late-night play sessions. You start off jumping straight into the Net—no slow intros here—and before long, you're knee-deep in chip combos and tournament brackets. The battles are this weirdly satisfying mix of real-time action and deck-building strategy—like, do you go for a full-screen attack now or save that Fire+ Sword combo for the next fight?

What I love about this one is how it leans into the tournament structure. You're not just wandering around; every match feels like a mini-boss rush with actual stakes. And the Blue Moon version? Slightly different chips and encounters than Red Sun, which is cool if you're into replay value. The sprite work still holds up too—those little battle animations when you land a big hit never get old.

Fair warning though: some of the later fights will absolutely wreck you if you don’t plan your folder right. I may or may not have rage-quit a few times as a kid.
